About

We are Singing Meditation- a group wellbeing session that uses singing as a meditation aid.

As a professional musician and daily meditator, Jacob (our founder) found that music had a unique power to deepen focus and presence. His sessions are designed to make that experience accessible to everyone - no musical or singing background needed.

Each session is led live from the keyboard, where Jacob guides the group through simple songs & mantras in two- or three-part harmony using a call-and-response approach (no sheet music required). Participants can choose to:
- Sing the main melody
- Add harmonies or improvise
- Simply listen and absorb the sound

Accessibility, choice, and connection are at the heart of each session. It’s an inclusive space where sound becomes a tool for mindfulness and shared calm.

We run collaborations with a growing community of wellbeing centred festivals and venues such as the Social Sauna Club, Urban Heat Sauna and WellNest.

"Meditation isn't something that comes naturally to me, but when combined with singing it feels like the easiest thing in the world. Jacob is such a naturally talented musician who leads a passionate calmness, ensuring everyone is comfotable and joyful within the space." Chloe

" It’s an amazing feeling to spend time finding your own voice, coming back to oneself, but in a group environment, held by the energy of those around you. It fuels me up, ready to go into the world for another week. " Alice

"Singing Meditation is ideal for anyone who might want to meditate, but perhaps finds it difficult or awkward to know where to start. Jacob’s music provides a powerful atmosphere and I always come out feeling the perfect balance of relaxed and energised!" Milo

Meet Jacob, Our Facilitator

I'm a professional musician combining work as a pianist with Opera companies, teaching and leading choirs such as the choir at St John's Waterloo.

I started meditating seriously in my early 20s, and what began as a timid exploration has become a daily practice that gives my life an anchor of peace, clarity and authentic joy.
